Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This policy explains how we collect, use and protect the personal information you provide through this website. This website (aliferemembered.au), A Life Remembered, is operated by Vincent Press (ABN 57 878 525 617), a registered business name of James Phillip Vincent. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that business.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you have any questions, contact us at legacy@aliferemembered.au.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us through our enquiry form:
- your name and message (required);
- optionally your email address, phone number, who you are considering a book for, the experience you are interested in, your preferred way to be contacted, and the best time to reach you.
To protect the form against spam and abuse we also record a limited technical signature of your request. Your IP address is stored only in a one-way hashed form for that purpose — we do not keep your raw IP address.
How we use your information
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to arrange our services. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or send it to analytics tools.
Storage, hosting and email
Enquiries are stored securely on our website hosting and delivered to us by email through our email provider. These providers process the information on our behalf so that your message reaches us. We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to limit access to it to those who need it.
Sharing with others
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except the service providers described above who host our site and deliver our email, and except where we are required to do so by law or a valid legal request.
Overseas storage
Some of our service providers may store information on servers outside Australia. Where that is the case, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled with appropriate care.
Retention and deletion
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, to arrange services. Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted on a regular schedule. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You may ask what information we hold about you and request that we correct or delete it by emailing legacy@aliferemembered.au. Please identify yourself clearly so we can be sure we are dealing with the right person.
Cookies
This website uses only essential first-party cookies — one to remember preview access during our pre-launch period, and one that protects the enquiry form. We do not use advertising, marketing or analytics cookies, and there is no tracking across other websites. If privacy-preserving analytics are ever added, this policy will be updated first.
United States visitors
This policy also applies to visitors in the United States. We collect only the enquiry details described above, we do not sell or share personal information, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information using the contact details below.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not intend to collect personal information from children. Please do not submit personal information through this site if you are under the age of consent in your location.
Recording consent is separate
The recorded story-gathering process has its own, separate permissions agreed with you directly. It is not covered by this website enquiry consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Please review it occasionally so you are aware of any changes.
